Living the Past

Jethro Tull rocks!

Saturday night Daria and I saw a fine concert at Newcastle City Hall. Ian Anderson and the lads still put on great show. The first half was a variety of stuff, some new, some old and a cover of Led Zepplin that was quite respectable!

Ian still (occasionally) adopts his one foot posture.


The second half of the concert featured songs almost entirely from my favorite album: Aqualung

The venue, The Newcastle City Hall, is very much like the Memorial Theatre in Sacramento. It is large enough to have a good crowd and small enough to see the performers.

When you see me later this year, of course, I'll be sporting my Jethro Tull 2006 England tour T-shirt. Yeah, baby.
